Bonnie went above and beyond to finish her AKC Championship in February with a 5pt Major on a specialty weekend!
We are so proud of her and so grateful to have spent the last two years loving her.
Bonnie isn't about the show dog life and she really doesn't enjoy the hustle and bustle of raising puppies and kids. She is lucky enough to have landed a retirement home in Albuquerque with the dad (Ryder) of our Sea Monster litter as her new housemate! It's funny how things work out... We are heartbroken to see her go, but we know that our busy family was just not her style.
We couldn't have asked for a better forever home for our baby dog and look forward to updates on Bonnie with her new brothers.

Mile High Weimaraner Club
On Saturday, Sept 10th Bonnie went Winner's Bitch at the MHWC Specialty for a 3 point major! This puts her at 9 points and both majors toward her AKC Championship.
We're so proud of her! Breeder Amy Fast stood in for her win photo while I ran on over to Rally with Baker. She even snuck that tail up!

Prey drive...
Bonnie ran her FIRST FastCAT this weekend at the Greater Racine Kennel Club's wonderfully run event. I got to snap a few photos of her as she lumbered down the track.
I think if we put a fuzzy or feathery lure on the end, she would've put on the jets. As it is, she did get a competitive time with her siblings on day 1!

Bonnie is becoming a field dog!
The confidence this dog is developing in the field is amazing. I can't wait to see what she does with some pigeons and concentration this Fall.

Bonnie takes on Bong Rec!
Bonnie got to find some birds with her brother this weekend. She absolutely loves this game - we had no issue with the gun noise or honoring other dogs in the field. Although there weren't many live fliers, both Bonnie and Baker were on cleanup duty from the week it seemed. Bonnie jumped right in to find birds in heavy cover and bring them back to Mom!

Our first Major with Pat Trotter!
We battled through some serious sinus congestion to show to one of our favorite judges in the whole world - the fabulous Pat Trotter! Bonnie walked away with many chin scratches, sweet words, and her first major!
We are always so happy to show under Judge Trotter's expertise any time, but winning just brings it to the next level.

Why Gaelic? Talisker - Bonnie's mom - is named following a trip to Scotland. Since we're a bit witchy at Greyhaus, we chose the Gaelic phrase for a "new moon" and also "a bright new light" as Bonnie completes a hole in our family.
We can't wait to get Bonnie out on the circuit!
